Still spinning from the momentum of launching The European Moment, we got together again on 8 February 2017 to set out the campaign’s next steps. We were particularly pleased to see lots of new faces mixed in with the familiar ones, and – after a quick recap of what we’d achieved thus far – we got straight down to work in task-focused groups.
In its first week, our movement had already attracted a lot of attention on Facebook and on our new website. Now it was time to focus on how we could spread the word even further in the coming weeks and months.
Our brainstorming produced lots of valuable ideas about demo material, social media content, and potential partners and sponsors. One thing, however, stood out from the rest: The European Moment had reached the ears of other initiatives such as the Europa Union Berlin, March for Europe, and Pulse of Europe. Together, we settled on the 25 March 2017 as the date for our ambitious combined demo in Berlin.
We want to work together in the coming weeks, not only to plan what will be an important day for Europe, but also to reach out to even more people who, like us, want to make a stand for European values.
SAVE THE DATE: 25. March 11.45am at Bebelplatz, Berlin. (More information following soon.)
